Caleb Quaye (born in London on 9 October 1948) is an English rock guitarist who co-founded Hookfoot and a studio musician known for his work in the 1960s and 1970s with Elton John, Mick Jagger, Pete Townshend, Paul McCartney, Hall & Oates and Ralph McTell. He is the son of jazz musician Cab Kaye, younger brother of musician Terri Quaye, and older half-brother of former 1990s singer Finley Quaye.
Quaye is known most notably as Elton John’s original lead guitarist having played on all the “early stuff”
